Kumutha Ramanathan

Kumutha Ramanathan is a speaker, moderator, and subject matter expert working at the intersection of media, finance, and global affairs. Over more than fifteen years in international media, she covered the world's most consequential geopolitical and economic events as a tier-one journalist, developing the ability to absorb complex, fast-moving information and communicate it with precision to mass audiences. Her investigative reporting on gay and undocumented migrants in the United States earned First Place for Reporting from the South Asian Journalists Association, and she was named a Finalist in the Media category at the Asian Women of Achievement Awards in the United Kingdom. At BNN Bloomberg, Yahoo Finance, and other tier-one outlets, she led business news coverage, covering earnings seasons, monetary policy, global economic shifts, and technology trends for broadcast and boardroom audiences. Today, as Founder and CEO of The Summit Group, she advises publicly listed companies, financial institutions, and public sector leaders.
